Hi everyone. I just took an allergy skin test (It was Horrible, 26 shots). I was found to be allergic to two southwest trees (mesquite and whatever the name for a tumbleweed is). Anyway, the allergies don't affect me physically, I just get a cough/runny nose when I'm around them.

I was wondering how easy it is to get this waivered? Or is it even possible? I'm on zyrtec and nasonex for right now, nothing too serious.

You should be ok. My son has the same type of allergies. He didnt really need a waiver but they requested a response about how he handled this and how it affected his sports etc. He ran track and played football and never really had a problem. He still takes zyrtec which the academy is now supplying and paying for. And there's no mesquite in Connecticut! Good luck.

I had to send in more information about my allergies, but all I have is hay fever. They didn't even disqualify me, so I was fine. The only thing they really freak out about is food allergies.
