Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the two colleges- I've visited both and liked them but I wasn't sure which was better as far as academics, financial aid, scholarships etc... I know Alma has an awesome Model UN program, and they are both good with study abroad but I can't find anything that definitively sets them apart from each other. Albion is ranked higher (but they're both small liberal arts colleges) but not in a way that's #10 vs #25. It's more like #99 Albion vs #139 Alma on US News. Any help would be amazing!

Thank you!

My child is going to Albion. He didn’t really consider Alma so I’m not in a position to criticize Alma as I understand is really enjoyed by its students. What I can say about Albion is that my son has had an opportunity to develop very close relationships with his professors, the students are very active/engaged in class discussions, and the learning opportunities are wonderful. As a parent, I noticed that the professors/staff are really friendly – even when I was simply waiting around in a lobby for my son to finish an interview. Albion is also on the train line and a movie theater recently opened up in the town itself. Albion really cares about my son on both a personal and academic level. I’m glad you are considering Albion. I am very pleased, as a parent, and think my son is well-positioned to get into an outstanding graduate school, which is his goal.
