Is it common for people to go to UCLA football games alone? Cuz I want to go to the BYU game at the Rose Bowl this Saturday, but none of my friends are down to go. Just wondering if people often go alone, cuz I imagine it might not be as fun if you go alone.

Cuz if it's not fun to go to a football game alone, I might just stay home.

If you are really going for the football itself, then it should be fine. But if you want to go and chill with your friends while watching, then it won't be the same. I think it always better with at least one other person though.

YOu are never alone Bruins are family! Its awkward at first but youll find yourself talking and hi five-ing people after the first touchdown... let your guard down

Yeah, back when I was considering buying a football season ticket I wasn't too worried about going to a game alone. As far as I've seen the student section is crammed with students all going crazy anyway, it shouldn't be too hard to befriend the Bruin next to you.

ok cool. do you know where the buses meet? i just want to be able to get to the game with all the other students haha. will the buses be available for this game even though school isn't in session yet?

They pick you up between de neve turnaround and the bottom of the covel common stairs. (the long walk that is the backside of Drake Stadium). I forget if the bus leaves 3 or 4 hours before the game (for the first bus)

btw, for those of you taking the buses, the CTO guy told me the buses meet at Lot 32 (near the corner of Gayley and Kinross), NOT at De Neve. This is cuz there's no one at the dorms.

But once people move in, they'll be meeting at De Neve like usual. And bus tickets are $5 roundtrip for students.
