ALP TEST just taken

Hi
If you are going to take the test. Well, based on my experience is about writing an argumentative essay. I was given two paragraphs from different authors’ point of view about democracy. You have to choose which side you are and work with the evidence that you have. Also, you need to apply your knowledge in regards sociology, psychology or recent events according to your position.
You are going to be scored for your grammar and vocabulary. So it is better if you start looking at the dictionary and get to new words. You can’t use it on the test.
They said that results will come in 7 business days, it could be less than that. I suggest you to study the parts of an argumentative essay that helped me a lot.
If you have any questions, I am here to help.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It really enrich the community. I’m also an international student applying for spring 2019 transfer and I’d greatly appreciate if you can share your experience and thoughts on the admission process and school itself.

  1. I was wondering if you can share your stats when you applied to the school.
  2. I assume you’re going to start in 2018 fall, so was there a set deadline to take ALP for international student?
  1. After you're admitted, there's a student portal with the things you'll need to get done. For incoming fall students, it was possible to take the ALP exam as late as August 24th. So it's very close to the start of the semester. Basically, it's impossible to be admitted but miss the exam deadline.
