I'm a freshman at Georgetown University, and I'm interested in joining their professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi. However, I can't seem to find much information on it --- I emailed some people from the website but I've never gotten any responses. I've seen tables in Red Square and such for the other professional frats, but not the business one. Other people I have talked to are equally in the dark, and I don't even know who to ask about it.

Does anybody know anything about Georgetown's chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi? I just want some more general information (what it does, when/how to pledge, important dates, that sort of thing). Thanks!

don’t do it - it got in some trouble last yr, not sure if they officially exist anymore - I thought the members just disbanded

So it’s gone?? The website is still up and running, and it’s still listed on the university organizations web page. Is there anyone on campus I could talk to find out what’s going on for certain?

It does still exist. I was talking to a girl who is in it and went to a socail for it last night. They don’t do rush for freshman until the spring I believe. That’s most likely why you can’t find any information on it.

did it start up again?

I’m pretty sure they lost their funding from the business school and that the group disbanded… but that was last year
