I've heard people in the past say that Alpha Lambda Delta & Phi Eta Sigma don't really do any activities and aren't worth joining. However, on their website, it seems like a lot of their activities and programs sound pretty interesting...So does anyone who is currently in either have any new info? Are they worth joining now? Thanks.

Wheatfield,

My daughter just got an invite to join and it looks like it’s worth the $70. At the very least it’s a nice award for starting off on the right foot. Plus it might be a chance to say hi to some new people. Some of their service activities look good.

Best,

trust me… do NOTTTTT join! I joined as a freshman and it was SUCH a waste… I guess we were suppose to be active ourselves by participating in some of the meetings, but I haven’t gotten any emails on ANYTHING these past 3 years…

I would recommend mortar board or golden key… 'cept I think those require a min GPA…

I just think that you have to want to participate yourself, cuz most honor societies don’t seem that active…
