Already a Berkeley Student-Transfer into Econ?

So,

It seems like many people want to transfer into the econ major at berkeley. My question is: for cc transfers, if in our first semester we get A-/B in our prerequisites ( econ 100 A or 100 B and stats) , then does that mean we have a good chance of getting in?

I know there are ALOT of applicants. so how do they decide who gets in and who don't? ?

I was admitted as an environmental economics and policy major.

any feedback would be great! thanks!

with all your grammatical errors, you sound like an idiot. the admissions counselors see right through that. you won’t get in.

I don’t see many major errors except “don’t” instead of “doesn’t.” From what I have heard, as long as you have a 3.0 in your prereqs, you have a good chance of getting in.

It’s not actually grammar errors but his sentence structures are really awkward. He also places periods and commas in the wrong places.

“Alot” is actually two words.

Seriously, nobody cares how they post on the internet. Who bothers to check their grammar when it doesn’t really matter.

I know I don’t.

And I know the econ department is pretty strict. Talk with the adviser on Evans floor 5
