Hi! So I graduate tomorrow and I’m going to end the year with a 2.81 GPA, while the total GPA of my first 3 years adds up to a 3.03 GPA. I’ve already been accepted to University of South Florida but I’m worried that this might cause them to revoke their acceptance.
(I’m normally a straight-B student but this year, I got an A and 2.5 Cs (.5 = semester class))
I don’t know, I hope don’t do it.
Good luck.
Ouch. Two choices: hope for the best and see what happens. Call admissions and ask. Do you prefer to rip your bandaids off slowly or quickly? I wish you luck.
Usually schools don’t revoke for Cs. If you were a straight A student and all of your grades dropped to Cs, schools might want to know if there are extenuating circumstances. But a B student getting a couple of Cs? Not a big deal.
It is school and situation dependent but the general rule often quoted on CC is to avoid D’s, F’s and felonies 0-- but the only way to know with 100% certainty is to check with admissions.
