Okay, so i already applied for two of the five schools i wish to attend over the summer (i am now a senior in hs), paid, just have to send in scores and transcripts. Problem is, i put down the student courses i signed up for last year, but counselor decided to switch up like four of my courses. This makes me feel like i was being dishonest in my applications, but when i go online, there's no way to edit them to change the new courses (which are higher caliber). :( what should i do?

I’m not 100% sure but i think the app says to contact them if there are any course changes so you should try that

Contact the college directly and let them know you changed your course schedule.

Talk to your guidance counselor and find out the right way to deal with it. I’d absolutely let the colleges know ASAP.

When my kid’s classes changed, she emailed the college admissions office to let them know her schedule had changed. Just let them know that your class schedule changes since you applied, and give them a list of what you are dropping and what you are adding. You can do this without involving your GC. However, you should create a new version (copy) of the Common App and modify it before submitting to other colleges.

intparent is correct. Email the colleges to which you have already applied, and detail out the schedule changes. Create a modified version of the Common App for future applications. It’s not a major thing; it happens frequently.

If this happens, do you create a whole new common app account with the same info? I thought common app doesn’t let you do that. Just wondering :)

No, just modify the info before submitting it to other colleges. You cannot open multiple common app accounts.
