My first semester starts in a month and I've found I need to take a lot of classes for the (double) major I want, but at the same time, grad school is possibly only two years away -- meaning that apps begin in another year.

Anybody else a bit worried? I think ill be taking 4 tough upper division courses for the forseeable future. I also need to find professors who will write me rec letters not to mention writing a research paper and internships in my last year and summer.

The process seems a bit rushed and there seems to be so much to do that I don't think I'll end up enjoying the next couple years very much.

i am not worried, i am just pacing myself, i dont have a set time for when i apply and so on, i will apply wheni feel i am ready and when i got everything i wanted out of my senior college.

anyone who stresses about the future (about a matter that isn't even life-threatening) is stressing out for no good reason.

seriously, i stress out sometimes too, i'm not gonna lie. but come on the best you can do is do your best....thats it...reachinforthestars, are you going to ucla or what? i forgot.

I know how you feel. I too, have a double major, but because of how extremely heavy my courseload is, it's going to take me probably 3-4 years to finish this, AND I've already spent two years in college. (This is because I'll be winding up with a BA and a BS, with fairly different requirements.)

I'm pretty sure of the grad schools I want to get into...my biggest question is the grades. You can't buy your way into Trinity, so it looks like a 3.8 will be my best shot.
