Interview went pretty well, guy said he was "cautiously optimistic" and seemed to like me (which means almost nothing, but I'll take it).
Essays were good, not gonna lie.
My teacher rec should be amazing: English teacher, had her for two years, loves me.

What college are you applying for? Your rank is good, as are your SATs. Unfortunately for you, Gtown doesn't look at writing, but a 1490 CR + M is still great (it's what I have too!). I'd say your biggest issue is your lack of leadership positions, but if you wrote strong essays it could balance it out a bit, but that may hurt because overall your ECs aren't terribly impressive, but not bad. Good luck!

I'm applying to the college or arts and sciences.

Yea 1490s!!

I applied SFS. My SATs are so unbalanced haha, 790 CR 700 M. But for SFS CR is more impt :) Our stats are kind of similar, but my rank is slightly lower. But I make up for it in leadership stuff. Aren't you so excited to find out/so scared? I keep picturing getting the letter and opening it over and over ahhh

I know!!! I mean, I'm pretty sure I have as good a chance as most people, but a lot of it's...I don't wanna say luck, but yea luck. I mean they can only take a certain number of people, so some perfectly qualified applicants don't get in and that makes me a little nervous. But mostly I just don't want to have to wait for another month and a half!

Btw for anyone else wanting to answer, it's not a huge deal but I was also a National Merit Commended Student and the IB Curriculum has a standard requirement of 150 service hours over 2 years.
