Alright scores, but afraid of not getting into any of these colleges

Hey guys, I only applied to 7 colleges for RD and it’s starting to make me nervous. I can’t change it anymore as my GC already handed in everything to those 7 on the common app so I would like your opinions on what my chances are!

Colleges I applied to:(ALL RD)
Boston U

Cornell U
Purdue U
StonyBrook U
Georgia Tech

How good are your odds at those schools?

Which ones are your safeties?

If you’re really not certain you’ll get in to one of those 7, then why not send out another app or two? But do it first thing Monday morning, so there’s a chance that your transcripts can go out before the Christmas break.

I would say that Purdue, Boston University, and Stony Brook are definitely safeties.

You can definitely get in Purdue + BU + Stony Brook. Columbia, Copper U, Cornell and Georgia tech are all really good engineering schools assuming that you’re applying for engineering? Your SAT score is a bit on the lower percentile of the top schools and your subjects are also a bit low. You really need to make your ECs stand out on your application and do a good college essay.
