Alright what do you guys think?

<p>I am applying to these 7 schools:</p>

<p>SDSU (already accepted), USC, UCLA, UCSD, UCI, UCSB, and USD</p>

<p>What do you think my chances are with these:</p>

<p>3.55 unweighted, 4.00 weighted
9 honors/Ap courses taken
1860 Sat Supersocre: 660 M 650 CR 550 W<br>
500 + hours of community service
Decent EC's
Strong essays</p>

<p>Please give me an idea of what to expect as far as my chances of getting in, if possible try to give me a percentage. Thanks guys.</p>

<p>You’re going to have a tough time getting into UCs with that SAT and GPA. They factor in GPA a lot and yours is definitely below average at those schools. For all the UCs I would say Reach. Chance back?

<p>@ Tyler, i’d think i would be a reach at UCLA ,it would be unrealistic to expect getting in there but you never know, but all the other UC’s i mentioned id think id have a good chance at. I’m also first generation, low income and a california resident so i hope that helps</p>

<p>Actually, being a low-income California resident will hurt you at an UC. They prefer full-freight California residents or OOS.</p>

Wow didnt even know that, And also catria does it mean anything if USC sent me stuff through the mail and email before i even applied there, they sent me like 8 or 9 different letters and invitations. And what percentage would you say because USC is my dream school, im not expecting to get in but if i do ill be beyond overwhelmed</p>

<p>@ibleedpurpgold please don’t let ^^ this person discourage you. Although USC has a 18% acceptance rate anything can happen, literally anything. There have been cases where someone with lower stats were accepted over someone with higher stats. The admissions staff could see something they really like and accept you. I don’t know that much about college admissions but I do know that I don’t like to see people keep crushing peoples dreams on these forums.</p>

<p>@lauren thanks i really needed that. You just never know with these schools so thats why i went ahead and took a chance, i might not have the most amazing scores or stats but they might see something they like and thats what im hoping for</p>
