I'm a junior so I havn't been accepted to any colleges, but I run track and might be looking to run in college.
I have a 3.9, top 10%, whatever, whatever, but I couldn't get into an ivy league straight up. I'm just not qualified enough.
But lucky for me, my academics combined with my athletics might be good enough to get me to an ivy league school.
One problem: I want to be an engineer (either aeronautical, biomedical, or agricultural/biological) and cornell, the only ranked ivy in engineering, has a beast track team that probably would not take me.
I really like dartmouth and it's campus, and I contacted the coach and we're gonna talk more after this season, but its not really known for its engineering or anything. So I feel like despite me liking the campus (will visit this summer if the coach wants me), it wouldn't be worth it.
On another note I visited purdue university, and I really liked it but again, they're a big 10 school so the chances of me running track there are slim.
I also contacted brown but I'm not sure of their engineering program either.

I may do grad school so in that case my undergrad wouldn't matter all that much. But anyone have opinions on the subject?
