Alternate Application help?

I'm attempting to make an alternate version of my common app that has updated information (not included in my early applications). However, when I click the link from the pdf, it simply redirects me to the Common App home page and when I log in there is no "Alternate Versions" screen. Does this still work, or is it outdated? Am I doing something wrong?

<p>Maybe it’s not the link that isn’t working because it works fine for me… if you’ve already tried to login and everything and it still doesn’t work it may be that you already made an alternate profile without realizing (hint: if you see a drop down menu in the top right hand corner then you can be sure)</p>

You only need to go to the special URL the first time you create an alternative version. Thereafter, additional application versions can be made by going to the ‘Common Application’ section within your original Common Application and using the ‘Replicate’ link. You may make up to 10 versions, including the original version. You only need your original User Name and Password to access all versions.

<p>You might want to try this ^ and if that doesn’t work keep in mind you can’t make an alternate version until you’ve submitted your common app to at least one institution.</p>
