i am a Canadian resident living in the United States. I read somewhere that university of toronto sometimes offers people admission to majors they didn’t apply for if they feel like you don’t qualify for the one you applied for but do qualify for another. Does anybody know if this is true and if other universities do this too?
Not really for majors you’re not qualified for but the UCs may admit students to majors that are not their first choice (based on those with better records getting in to the more competitive majors).
