Hi! Some of you may know that in the event of a conflicted event like ARML, students can request to take an alternate SAT date.
Lets use ARML as an example. ARML falls on June 2nd, which is the day of SAT. Now according to this:
http://www.arml.com/sat_conflict/SAT_Alternate_Test_Day_Flyer_2011_2012.pdf
students can request an alternate SAT test day no more than one week away from June 2nd. Now will the SAME test be administered at this alternate day as that of the June 2nd date?
Please only reply if you are absolutely sure of the answer. Thanks!

No, the test will be different, just as the Sunday tests are different from the Saturday tests. The unethical student could easily learn the possible essay topics as well as get hints on the challenging math problems from people taking the regular test.

I’m surprised that the CB would accept an application for an alternate test date; the ARML competition doesn’t seem to satisfy the conditions. But apparently an exception is being made if you’ve already registered for June test.

Hi, I am new to this group. I have a child who will attend ARML competition in June 2nd. She is junior and planed to take SAT I in June 2 and subject in Oct. She asked school to request the alternative day. The school doesn’t offer it. But they suggested us to find a school who offer the alternate test day and go there to test. I contacted with college board and ask them which school offer alternate test day in this area. The lady told me she doesn’t know. I contacted some school in this area and they didn’t offer it and one lady told me there is one on June 3rd. But she doesn’t know which school will offer it.We live in Canton Michigan. Any place in Michigan, or close to Michigan will be OK. We really need to take SAT I in June.

Thank you very much for help!
