<p>I noticed that for most UC’s have an alternative major option. Is it good to put 2 majors that are very similar? For instance, I want to major in computer science and for some schools there are majors like “Computer science” and “Computer science and engineering” and “computer science - mathematics”. Would it be better to put 2 almost identical majors as main and alternative, or 2 not so closely related? Would I have a better chance getting in with one method?</p>
