Alternative SAT dates?

I was waiting to see my March SAT scores, so I didn't sign up for the May test, and I really don't want to pay the extra late fee. Furthermore, I'm not able to take the June SAT because of ARML - anyways I know that for the PSAT there were two testing dates, so I was wondering if they did the same for the SAT.

(background info)
I'm a junior and the March SAT was my first - I got what I wanted on writing, but I somehow missed a math question (770), and my reading was far lower than I expected/wanted. Anyways I'm aiming for: CR (730) M (800). I was hoping on applying EA to a few schools (Chicago, Caltech, MIT) but I don't think I'll have the test scores I want by then. Anyways, I also still need to take the Math II and Physics subject tests - I have physics first semester next year, so I need to take the subject test as late as possible (decemeber?). I would like to have a second chance with Math/Physics in case my scores are terrible, but I'm not sure if that's going to be possible. So how would you recommend I schedule these tests?

well…

There’s a Saturday, and a Sunday test. However, the Sunday test is only for religious purposes (your religious minister has to send a letter).

Sorry spratleyj.

Either pay the extra money for May, forgo ARML (even though it’s very cool…the math problems are so freaking hard, good luck), or take the test in October (from what I heard the October test scores go in time for most EAs).

hmm…i believe you’re allowed to schedule an alternate SAT day for special events that are unexpected (ARML counts, iirc). there’s some online brochure regarding this issue.

As a point of clarification, when are alternate SAT dates scheduled (i.e., how long after the original test date)?
