What are ways besides loans to pay for college? Anybody know any good tuition reimbursement programs?
Working full time and paying for classes as you can.
ROTC?
go to a college that will give you a full tuition scholarship (or more) for reaching certain GPA / test scores.
like one of these!!! –
“tuition reimbursement” means that you are working for an employer that will pay at least some of your study costs after you show them that you got a certain grade in the course. Normally you need to pay for the courses up front. Some employers reimburse at different rates for different grades.
Starbucks and Costco offer some tuition assistance to certain employees. Many other employers do as well. Ask your own boss whether it is a benefit that your company offers.
Actually working for a college might get you some benefits, including tuition.
Yeah, the military is a traditional way.
Dad volunteered during a war in large part for the GI BIll benefits. The military also covered my tuition … Getting tuition paid wasn’t my main goal, but I was (and am) grateful for it. And the experience.
People will say not to do it for the money but that’s an easier thing to say when there are other options than it is when there are few to none.
There was a sugar daddy thread awhile ago…
Go to the college that costs the same or less than the budget that you have without loans.
