Did anyone else apply to the Altman program? Does anyone know when we should expect to hear back?

I believe, in the past couple years, they have let people know around mid-April. I know that is kind of late, but I think that is the timing. Not sure what the thinking is in doing it that late, but I have to believe they have their reasons. I could guess, but it would only be a guess, no real basis in fact at all.
My DD applied and had a Skype interview a few days ago. They didn’t give her a definite date for decisions. Guess we just have to wait and see!
I think that is on the same track as previous years. Might even be a little earlier than in the past. As you say, we will see. Best of luck to those trying for this program, I have heard nothing but rave reports in the few years it has been in existence.
@VAmomof4 When did your daughter apply? I applied exactly on the deadline but I’m worried since I haven’t heard anything and apparently other applicants have.
She applied first week of March (I think). Got an email about an interview pretty quickly (easier when you’re a bit early) but had to postpone because original date conflicted with a school activity. Good luck to you! I know it’s hard to wait!
I applied exactly on the deadline as well and just got emailed about an interview today. I’ll actually be in New Orleans touring Tulane the day that they asked for the interview so I’m seeing if I can do it in person!
That would be great if they let you do that - but don’t be surprised if they say “No”. I work at a university and we have to be very careful about “equity” when it comes to interviews etc. I recently had to do a phone interview with someone who worked on the same floor as I did - so that there was no advantage for him by doing in-person. However - this is not a “hiring situation”.
Oh god i haven’t heard back yet! Should I be worried??
I heard back from Altman last week ( I got in!) and it really seems like an amazing program

@VAmomof4 I received an email inviting me to interview and then a congratulatory email about a week after my interview
Ok - thanks - and ocngrats. None of her future Tulane buddies have reported hearing back. I figured they released them in a group - like DHS and Paul Tulane. She interviewed a couple of weeks ago but I don’t think she’s heard. I’ll have her double-check her Gibson email.
