<p>I would say definitely check out Nittany Pointe- I’m still waiting to hear if I’ve been accepted to main campus yet but if not I’m def going to stay here for another year. The pool is awesome and the location is the best.</p>

<p>really? the reviews online of nittany pointe worried me a little bit. i heard that it was really dirty on move in day and that the owners would randomly raise the prices on rent. have you seen the penn view suites? are they any better or worse? since you have already spent a year at altoona, do you like it there? is it really as small and uneventful as everyone makes it seem? im full of questions, im sorry, haha.</p>

<p>after hours of research and with talking to a past Altoona student, i say Penn View Suites are the better option.</p>

<p>well according to the past altoona student, she said that Nittany Pointe sits on top of a huge hill and it becomes a pain after a while, especially on snow days. Also she said that Nittany Pointe is more expensive than Penn View, although you get the same exact things. well, except the pool. police also spend more time around Nittany Pointe, if your a partier thats not too great. at the same time, if your more of a studying person, Penn View is a whole lot quieter. so Penn View ends up being better for both types of people.</p>

<p>i am deff choosing the single room only because i have so many things, i couldnt imagine being able to fit them in a room that i would have to share with yet another person.</p>

<p>Are you staying at Penn View Suites or East?</p>

<p>im hoping to stay at the Penn View Suites only because its more worth it since the utilities are only 40 bucks a month rather than having to pay them seperatly at the East housing.
i still have to wait a week or two before i call Penn View Suites only to see how much money Penn State will give me.
are you attending Penn State Altoona for sure?</p>
