Alum wins Nobel Prize in Medicine

Dr. William Kaelin (BS, MD) becomes the first Duke undergraduate alum to win a Nobel Prize.

Dr. Gregg Semenza, one of the other recipients, completed his pediatrics residency at Duke.

This has been a phenomenal decade for Duke. 6 winners of the award have been affiliated with the university in some capacity since 2012.
