Alumna congratulations before college decision in the mail?

I applied to Wellesley as a transfer student, so I haven't heard from them yet. However, I got an email from a Wellesley alumna congratulating me on getting into Wellesley and inviting me to a dinner.

Except, as I said, I got nothing from the college itself. I wonder if it's a bad idea to consider it an acceptance? Is it even vaguely possible that I didn't get in but somehow an alumna thinks I did?

I'd say it's definitely a good sign :).

Good sign, yeah, but should I wait (and I won't get any more mail until at least Monday) for the mail before I consider myself accepted?
