^ Yes, it would be nice to have some idea what I ought to study before I go to the test in February, after reading how difficult it is going to be.

Well, just got back from the Great White North and all I can say about the test is -- that was different. No pressure, everyone was in a good mood but it was damn cold!!

Thought the weekend stuff was good and my Mom sucked up the fact that being from OOS, State might be about $100,000 over 4 years that UMich. Hmm ...

I can say with almost scientific precision that I won't be winning a test scholarship, but it was a great excuse to see the school during the worst weather of the year.

Well, Senator, I'm glad you sound like you had a good time... the test is really, really tough, so don't feel bad about not winning the scholarship (keep hope alive) and don't make that a negative toward MSU (it doesn't sound like you have) ... and as for the weather, well, ... can't do a lot about that; practically the entire North (including out here in the East) is in a deep freeze...

DannonWater, are you going to the next competition? Yes, the instructions said there would be a roommate but my son ended up in a room by himself.

Haha, I had the same with the single room. Didn't leave the coffee-social-whatever til a little before midnight.. and then I didn't go to sleep until just before one. :)
