How much is alumni a factor in the admissions process? How much would that bump up an admissions percentage chance. Is there an stats on alumni applicants vs non-alumni and their admission percentages?

I think that the alumni relationship only comes into effect if you are part of the pool of students who “make the cut off.” After that, the legacy can help a little. Also remember that if your father or someone has graduated from Cornell, but hasn’t stayed in touch through donations for example, it will barely help. Harvard, Yale, and Princeton look at alumni relations significantly more.
