I have to turn in my Duke supplement by tonight, December 10th to be considered for alumni interviews. I turned in my common app around Oct 28th btw.

The thing for me is, I had an alumni interview last Monday...so how does that work out? Do I still have to turn in my supplement by tonight or do I get until January 1st since they ALREADY did an interview for me?

I called admissions before and they said that you need to submit either the supplement OR the common app to qualify for the interview. Since you've already submitted the common app and you've already had your interview, you're fine.

Hi. In submitting the supplement online today, since I live on the west coast, will I need to turn in supplement A to Common App by midnight western or eastern time?

What if I applied early somewhere else and find out Dec. 15? I don't want to submit any application/pay the $75 fee if it turns out I'm accepted...but if I wait until I know from my Early school, it's after the deadline. I definitely want to interview!! What do I do??

Steveo69, an interview is not worth $75! Anyway, you'll probably still get an interview if you submit after the deadline. You're just not guaranteed one.

It depends on how many alumni are in your area. I didn't send in my Duke application until Christmas, but I got an interview anyway because NC has lots of Duke alumni.

hmmm what if you turned in your application on time and it doesn't show up on your checklist on Duke website?
I've been checking the status for a week and there is no change...I send everything including school stuff, scores and all the rest of it a long time ago. Should I be worried if the status on the application checklist doesn't change???
