I am having a alumni interview with vandy.....help....i research it and love it....i don't really have any more questions...now what....i really want it to look good.....

well i had my interview about a month ago or a little more. I just recently got accepted so hopefully i can help you. Bascially they will have a lot of questions for you. But I would advise you to come up with a few of your own.... for example why they chose vanderbilt and how it has affected their life? Or what activities they were involved in there? It could give you a good insight into what the campus is like from a personal perspective. But my interviewer had questions ranging from broad to more personal (what word describes you why?) You will be fine, just be yourself! but if you have any more questions let me know, I hope that helped!

where are u from???? im just wondering...maybe out of the blue...we just somehow have the same alumni...probably never..but it does hurt........

oh....about how long does it usually take...

im from st. louis missouri... and i think its different for everyone. Im a talker so it was about an hour and a half haha. but for most no longer than an hour.

does it help at all? do they talk to admissions after your interview?

The interviewer fills out a questionaire after the interview and it becomes part of your admissions file.

i also did interview month ago and 2 wks ago they sent email saying they received it,i'll be notified.thats it

how do you even get an interview?
i searched on vandy's website and didn't find any way to schedule for one.

i didnt do anything, they sent me email asking if i wanted it was available in my area.

I'm pretty they send out an email once they receive your application.
