Hey guys

Numbers wise I'm a below average applicant (1410/1600 SAT). But I spent a lot of time on my essays and I've been told by many (including current students) that they are exceptional.

I have an alumni interview scheduled next monday. I was wondering how much emphasis UChicago put on these interviews in terms of admission. I personally think I'm a really good fit for the school and that I can convey that in an interview. Will this have a profound impact on my application, or is it negligible?
