So this lady called me and left a voicemail saying that I need to call her back to schedule an interview with her. I have called her about 6 times for the past three days and she has never picked her phone up. I can't leave a voicemail because it says that her voicemail box is full.

Then I called the Admissions Office today and I told them the situation. The lady who initially picked up transferred me to the Alumni department and the Alumni department transferred me to somewhere. The phone kept ringing, but nobody picked up.

What should I do? I mean seriously, I don't think I would have any of this problem if the Alumni sent me an email instead of a phone call or if Duke actually had an email for the admissions office.

That stinks. Did you send an email to the Admissions Office? That way they would have a record of what happened. As for the alum, you never know if she had a situation come up that has her distracted. Try a couple times more.

Well I had the interview last night ON THE PHONE. I was at my friend's house at like 9 at night and she called me and said tonight was the last night to do the interview. I was so mad because I was totally not ready for it and she claimed that she had sent me an email in December but I checked my email and there was no sign of her email. Plus, why didn't she send me another email in Jan.?

So yeah the interview on the phone while I was in my car (because my friend was having bunch of ppl over) didn't go well, plus she only asked like two or three questions, while I asked her bunch of questions about Duke (to show interest).

Since most ppl say interviews won't hurt you, I'm not going to worry too much, but I'm just disappointed in how this situation turned out to be.
