i am going to have an alumni interview with an alumni of the University of Pennsylvania. I never had an alumni interview. wuts goes on? what does he ask? does he ask about gpa and test scores? is it just like a Counselor interview? please help me out. thanks

My friend applied to U Penn and had an alumni interview, and it was basically just a friendly conversation. Nothing like a job interview, there's no pressure to give specific answers. It's basically an opportunity for the alumni to get to know you outside of just numbers, and your opportunity to learn more about U Penn. My friend had her interview at a starbucks, and she said she had lots of fun, so calm down, be yourself, and good luck.

All of my interviews have been fairly informal. You sit down, and they basically ask you to talk about yourself. Tell them what you do, your goals, and what strong traits you have. They will ask why you want to go to Penn. They'll ask questions about things to clarify. They just try and get a good idea of your personality and what you could bring to their university and your goals. Don't stress out about it.
