My cousin graduated from Emerson, and is listed with their notable alumni for my intended major.(Kira Salak in Writ, Lit, n Pub if any of you have their brochure)</p>

<p>My husband is an alumnus of Emerson. My daughter had a GPA around their median and SAT scores well above their 75th percentile. She was waitlisted.
Of course, there's more to the story than that - she had a bad audition, didn't get into the program she wanted, and was probably waitlisted because the college knew she was unlikely to attend if she wasn't admitted to that program- but it left a bad taste in our mouths.
