She has appeared in the movie “Precious,” as well as on TV in “Nurse Jackie,” “Law and Order,” "Smash,” and “Mercy.”
Bryan Terrell Clark recently appeared as George Washington in Broadway’s “Hamilton.” He also played Marvin Gaye in Broadway’s “Motown: The Musical.” Bryan has performed at the Pasadena Playhouse, Mark Taper Forum, Alliance Theatre, and Guthrie Theater. On TV, Brian has appeared in
“NCIS: New Orleans,” “Blue Bloods,” “Person of Interest,” “Unforgettable,” and “CSI: NY,” among others, and appeared in the film “Collateral Beauty.”

Da’Vine Joy Randolph is in her first big screen starring role in the film ‘Dolemite Is My Name,’ also starring Eddie Murphy, Wesley Snipes, Keegan-Michael Key, Mike Epps, Craig Robinson, and Titus Burgess. Da’Vine originally attended Temple as a vocal performance major, but switched to Musical Theatre. She went on to the Yale School of Drama and was nominated for a Tony Award for her performance as Oda Mae Brown in ‘Ghost the Musical.’
Darryl Gene Daughtry, Jr (‘15) opens this week on Broadway in The Inheritance, a brilliant revisioning of E. M. Forester’s masterpiece, Howard’s End. The Inheritance recently won the Olivier Award for its West End production.
Darryl Gene also appeared in Shakespeare in the Park’s production of Coriolanus.
Alex Durant ('06) will be appearing in Moulin Rouge on Broadway in the role of Harold Zidler starting 12/10/19 for six weeks as Danny Burstein recovers from meniscus surgery. Durant has previously appeared on Broadway in You Can’t Take it With You, Macbeth, and War Horse.
Jordan Dobson (MT '18) has been performing in all performances as Tony in West Side Story on Broadway, while Isaac Cole Powell is out with a knee injury.
Although I’ve posted about most of these performers in separate posts in this thread, it’s exciting that Temple currently (January 2020) has FIVE alumni starring in Broadway shows:
Austin Durant ('06) as Harold Zidler in Moulin Rouge
Darryl Gene Daughtry, Jr ('15) in The Inheritance
Jordan Dobson ('18) as Tony in West Side Story (he is the understudy, but the lead has been out on extended leave for an injury, so Jordan has been performing as Tony in all of the shows recently)
Bryan Terrell Clark ('03) as George Washington in Hamilton
Kevin Del Aguila (MFA '94) as Olaf in Frozen
