Alumnus Interview vs. On-Campus Interview

<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>So I was planning another trip (my 3rd) to WashU with my dad this past weekend with the intent of getting an on-campus interview. However, just yesterday, an alumnus called my house and said that he would like to set up an interview as well.</p>

<p>My question is, how much more weight (if any) does the admissions office place on on-campus interviews? Is an alumni interview substantial? Or should I do both?</p>

<p>I am pretty sure you are only allowed to do one or the other. I doubt they favor one over the other. If you had said you never visited campus before, then I would say go for the on-campus interview. But since you have already visited twice it probably isn’t necessary to go back a third time.</p>
