<p>i don't know what modern pizza is, but I've heard Pepe's and Sally's are pieces of heaven.</p>

<p>Sally's has better pizza than Pepe's but they are generally more pleasant and serve you much faster at Pepe's. Modern is overrated (soggy, too-thin pizza) and far from campus. BAR's mashed-potato-and-bacon pizza is legendary.</p>

<p>Creekers, in Stony Creek (a gorgeous, National Geographic-featured waterfront area just five minutes away, where many celebrities live) has the best hot dogs.</p>

<p>Best pizza is the Garden Special at Sally's, or anything with similar ingredients there. Runners up - pecorino romano/grated cheese red at Pepe's, white clam at Pepe's, artichoke summer special at Modern. I'm a big foodie, and have traveled for pizza all over southern Italy, Naples, towns all around Rome, etc., and have also eaten at every top-rated (Zagat) pizza restaurant in New York City and Boston, and none even remotely compare to the high quality of New Haven's pizza.</p>

<p>I'm an '10er, but I've been to Sally's a few times already, and it's BY FAR the best pizza I've ever had! Go to Sally's!</p>

<p>Yes, those are good, but odds are, the time you crave pizza isn't the time to make the trek all the way over to the other side of town.</p>

<p>Naples is my choice for best pizza, though for obvious reasons in addition to laziness, I'm partial to the Calhoun buttery.</p>

<p>For a late night snack, I prefer Yorkside for dine-in, and it's a toss up between Brick Oven and Yalies for delivery. Brick Oven has a better taste, but Yalies offers twice as much pizza for the same price. My roommate and I tend to switch it up every week or so.</p>

Yorkside has too much sauce....</p>

<p>I prefer Est Est Est Est Pizza.....perfection...and good cheese sticks too!</p>

<p>Yeah if you like great food and good-looking waiters, Est Est Est Est is the place!</p>
