The other day I looked at my grade history, and I always notice my grades at the end of the year are better than the grade at the beginning of the year. I'll give you examples of some grades that stand out to me.

Algebra 1-7th grade grades
1st Quarter-74
2nd Quarter-79
3rd Quarter-83
4th Quarter-86

World History 7th Grade Grades

2nd Quarter-88
3rd Quarter-90
4th Quarter-95

Geometry 8th Grade Grades
1st Quarter:72
2nd Quarter:75
3rd Quarter:86
4th Quarter:88

US History 8th Grade Grades:
1st Quarter:77
2nd Quarter:74
3rd Quarter:81
4th Quarter:86

Algebra 2/Trig 9th Grade Grades

2nd Semester:96

World History Honors 9th Grade Grades
1st Semester:91
2nd Semester:95

Biology Honors 9th Grade Grades

2nd Semester:97

Spanish 1 9th Grade Grades
1st Semester:80
2nd Semester:88

Even my grades this year have shown improvement from the 6 week periods where they send your parents progress reports and determine athletic eligibility. (3 a semester, but they don't count for colleges to see)

My Grades for the first and second periods were
Chemistry:92 it is now 91 (slightly lower)
AP European History:92 but it is now 94
Spanish 2:93 but it is now 95
Pre Calc Honors:68 but it is now 76
Digital Photography:95 and is still 95
English 2 Honors:90 and is now 92

Does anybody else feel like they do significantly better in the 2nd semester or later grading periods (If your school goes by quarters or trimesters or whatever) than they do in the earlier parts of the year?

I also feel for the most part, I do better at a subject when it gets more advanced, you will notice that mostly with my History grades, and somewhat my Spanish grades.
