Always missing 2 or 3 questions in a section...Ways to improve?

Hey guys, just asking for some more advice for all those 2300+ test takers out there:

For all the practice tests I've done, I almost always miss like 2-3 questions in every section, not even necessarily the harder ones towards the end, just some random thing I misinterpreted or understood wrong. I've studied all the rules again and again but rarely, if ever, get a perfect on a section, which is really disappointing because when you add them up, it's like missing 6-8 total, which never breaks the 750 barrier.

I scored a 2200 on this Dec SAT with CR740, M730, W730, but really need to make at least a 2250+ or preferably 2300+. I've pretty much done all the BB prac tests, half of the PR book, and read RocketReview, Barrons 2400, Grubers, etc etc but basically stuck in the lower 700 range. Any tips, suggestions, or general words of wisdom? Just more practice?

Thanks a bunch! :)

identify what types of questions they are, find similar ones, and work on them

^^^^^^this

wow, your scores are consistent, which is a plus factor!

Take practice tests. Review every question, especially the ones you got wrong. I'm personally recording the reason I got any question wrong on a practice test (e.g. forgot a math concept, didn't know a word, assumed a false thing in the passage, etc.)

I was in the same situation for CR and W towards the end of September. As long as you're consistent you should be fine. Just remember to take a deep breath and relax when you take your test. I can't even begin to stress the importance of that.

Btw, things worked out for me. Perhaps they will for you too. Good luck =)
