Am I a competitive Applicant?

I really like the idea of going to Williams after a lot of research.
I'm thinking Math/Economics/Political Science, I haven't narrowed it passed this, but I like how I have flexibility in my schedule at this school.

You definitely have a strong shot. You asked about taking the SAT I’s or math/physics, but there’s no reason that you should take any more tests, your ACT + 3 subjects are more than enough. Because of your strong academic performance, an acceptance would probably come down to having a strong essay and/or a hook (recruited athlete, extremely talented artist, something that you do better than anyone else). If you can get either one of those down, getting into Williams should be likely. Even without those, your chance is still pretty good. Good luck, and I hope we meet next year

Thanks, that’d be great. Are you already accepted or are you a hopeful as well?
I hopefully could have a strong essay, one of my teachers is willing to help and her kids go to harvard/brown so she helps a lot of students with essays. I am not that special just a hard worker, so I hope it works out!

I’m not accepted, but I am hoping to be recruited. Already talked to the coach and he said my chances were pretty high, and I’m visiting again in a month for a recruiting weekend. If that all goes well then thinks will be looking good. What other schools are you looking at? And do you think that you will apply early?

I’m not sure yet, right now my list has boiled down to:
Harvard, Princeton, MIT (These three for kicks, I’ve been to them and they are really great schools obviously), Cornell, UChicago, Northwestern, Williams, Carnegie Mellon, Binghamton, NYU.

You have an excellent chance of being admitted - maybe even of getting an early admission letter if you apply regular decision; these letters go to especially academically strong candidates.
