Am I a good candidate for Wharton ED?

First of all, need your unweighted GPA. Your SAT score is definitely in par with Wharton, still people get rejected with these high scores. After all, its Wharton. Your ECs are good, and its good that you have showed dedication towards piano. Volunteer work is good too, but I get a feeling that you also want to do pre-med. Am I right?? I applied to Wharton last year, didn’t get in but your scores and ECs are way better.

And about showing interest in business, remember what you do now doesn’t matter that much!! your future plans have no impact on decision. I interviewed with Wharton alumni, and one thing they want to see is LEADERSHIP skills. You don’t have to be a president of every club. It could be anything, and I see you being president of two clubs. That’s good, but the thing is that every kid who applies to Wharton is president of something. you know.

Now your chances…a HIGH reach. Good Luck though!!! Apply to berkeley, mit, carnegie mellon, NYU. You should be able to get in NYU, carnegie mellon. MIT chances look good too…
