DAMN!! If that were me, I would have moved already

Yea Pianodude, you’ve disappeared!

DAMN!! If that were me, I would have moved already

Yea Pianodude, you’ve disappeared!

he’s probably either lurking or sleeping (I think he has school tomorrow? hahahahaha if so that sucks)

Haha my school had finals last friday, so we are out until january

same here.
I failed my APUSH final and most likely failed my math final. ****. oh well haha all A’s next semester = a chance at USC
oh and exemption from finals! USC is my only motivation for not adding to the black stereotypes.

Hahaha Duke and Vanderbilt are my motivation, what’s at USC that you like?

it’s in California. I love California
I’m interested in marine biology and neuroscience, and if I pursued marine bio @ USC then I’d get to study at my own laboratory and I think live there? it’s either USC that has that or Stanford LOL i honestly forgot. Plus my great-aunt lives 5 minutes away from USC and being at USC would give me a chance to get spoiled :p

Hahah thats cool, i’ll probably to go UC-San Franciso for Med school, lucky you <_< my grandma lives like 10 minutes away and she never spoils me :(

Meh, was eating dinner with my folks. Oh, and I just realized that my computer clock was 2 hours behind…so it’s actually 12:30 over here lol.

No school tomorrow!!, finished all exams today(wait, yesterday) :D

Kinda p1ssed caused I ended the semester with straight A’s and 1 A+ (except for 2 A-'s goddammit)…

Whats wrong with A-s??

haha my grandma lives on Guam, so you’re lucky yours lives in the mainland ![]()
oh shizz it’s Pianodude!
hey what exactly constitutes as an A+, A or A- at your school? our school only has A-F, no pluses or minuses lol.

Yea thats true:D my grandma is young enough to be mom o.o thats weird!

how old is your grandma?? aha

Piano and scales, how do you feel about affirmative action? random question I know lol but I’m always interested in what others have to say about that topic :)

Affirmative Action: Small price to pay for hundreds of years of slavery

And my grandma is 50!

buenu asaina. you were right lol your grandma is definitely old enough to be your mom.

Hahaha I know right

Lol! well I was about to say earlier regarding my USC chances, “thank God I’m a triple URM… maybe I actually have a chance @ USC! my GPA’s like a 3.83” but I didn’t want to offend Piano
I know how touchy some get on the subject of affirmative action and I didn’t want to make it seem as if I’m riding on that URM hook, seeing as USC is my absolute DREAM school. But i’m number one in the state for Tenor Sax and Bassoon, so maybe that will stand out ![]()
Lol @ whoever’s lurking this thread.

Hahah you’re a triple?? thats awesome, im only half URM xD I wonder who’s looking at this thread, if you are looking at this thread ANSWER!

@CaliAd

3.83 Unweighted or weighted o.0

Triple URM, nice…, too bad I’m an ORM

My school rates 91.5-94.5 = A-
94.5 - 97.5 = A
97.5 - ? = A+

And you get penalized for A-, meaning 3.667 GPA, which is complete B.S.
Plus, honors classes aren’t weighted, only AP’s, which is another complete B.S…

Unweighted. yea my gpa SUCKS.

@scales: yup. you’re half URM? haha so what else are you?
I’m Pacific Islander, black and Native American.
actually damn you know what… we’re not even registered, and I don’t think it’d be fair to mark that down on my college apps. haha I feel like i’m a hypocrite because for my PAVE application, I definitely circled Native American…

My mom’s reaction (in Islander accent): “They deny you! Why you not Pacific Island circle one?? Or Pacific Island and Africa? You not Native American! You FATHER Native American! Okay you wait and see!!”
Translation: “They won’t accept you! Why didn’t you just circle Pacific Islander ONLY? Or Pacific Islander and black? You’re not Native American! Your FATHER’S native American! Okay you wait and see!” LOL i love my parents
