Am I a hopeless cause? (CSUN, CSUF, CSULB, CPPomona, UCR, UCI,UCSB)

Hi I'm new to this forum, so if i miss anything, or get something wrong, please let me know!
I'm a Mexican- American girl, born and raised in California. Parents are immigrants, came over here, so I will be first generation to go to college.
Cal state gpa: 3.32
UC: 3.4 ish i think.

SAT 1700 (590 CR 520 Math) I will be taking it again in December.
ACT : 24, Although i dont think i will report it, as its a really low score

Classes taken ( I go to a public school)

4 years of English (9th and 10th Honors, and 11th and 12th AP)
4 years of math ( All honors except 10th, where I took regulars)
4 years of Science ( All honors, AP this year)
3 years of history ( 2 honors, AP in 11th where I got a D and then a C) However, I made up the D during summer school
2 years of Spanish ( I took spanish speakers 1 and 2)

EC: A couple clubs that I am a member in. I am also in my school's leadership class this year. I have roughly 100 hours of community service done.

From what I'm told, CSUN will accept me as my school is in their serving area, but I am worried about the other schools. I am fairly certain none of the UC's will accept me, so Im just looking at the cal states right now. I've applied to biology for all the cal states, and will apply undeclared to the UC's.

So what are my chances? I am nothing remarkable, just barley at the tail end of average. Am I hopeless?

CSUN you will be fine, but the UCI and UCSB are gonna be a longshot with that SAT (try retaking it and aim for 1900+) and UCSB should be fine, UCI you’re going to need 2000+. You should be fine for UCR.

Average UC GPA for UCI/UCSB is a 4.0+ along with at least an SAT of 1900 is needed to be competitive.

@littlebirdy: CSU and UC GPA are the same calculation so 3.32.
Your SAT/ACT and GPA will hurt your chances at the mid-tier UC’s.

UCSB/UCI: Reach
UCR: High Match/Low Reach
CPP/CSULB/CSUF: High Match
CSUN: Match

You need at least 2 more matches or safeties. I suggest you should look into San Francisco State, Sac State, Monterey Bay, Channel Islands and San Marcos. The last 3 are non-impacted campuses you have much better chances.

Good Luck and apply more widely. You do not want to be shut out.

@Gumbymom‌ could you chance me back? I had some updated scores.
