I graduate HS in 2012, so obviously I still have awhile to go before I even apply to college. Although I have already taken the ACT and the SAT, I plan on retaking both this year as well as taking SAT IIs (Math, Writing, and Biology). So, this is just general guideline if I am currently on track to get into UCLA, USC, and Georgetown. Certainly not safety schools, but relative matches.

I am currently enrolled in the IB program at a public AZ high school in a very good area.

GPA: 4.0 (unweighted) 4.8 (weighted)
ACT: 32
SAT: 2180 (scores from CR, M, and W were about equal)

Taking all IB classes as well as AP/Honors classes as my electives. Will have four years of english, four years of a social science/history, four years of Spanish, four years of a laboratory science, and four years of math (including calculus from my Math HL class)

Extracurriculars:

Ranked 1st in the state, 2nd in the nation, and ranked internationally three years in a row (US national team) for competitive rock climbing. I train 25 hours per week even during the school year, so naturally this along with my IB curriculum eats up my time.

Volunteer at Mayo Clinic Hospital

Staff writer for school newspaper

Published multiple times in school's literary magazine

Secretary of school community service club

Part of a group that wrote a grant proposal for $5000 to our school's library

Member of Spanish Honor Society

I'd appreciate your input! I haven't taken my IB exams yet, clearly, but I believe those are only optional to include on college applications.
