Am I a part of KKK???????

i was asked the stupidest question today.

'are you a part of the kkk?'

keep in mind that i'm an asian catholic in that.
so this STUPID girl assumed that i was a part of kkk just because i am homeschooled.

sure, this was only a small girl and she probably have heard some things about christian home schooling. but KU KLUX KLAN???????

wow that's just wrong....

That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Obviously, this girl has received no education (or at least none of true substance), and her ignorance is abominable. All the more reason for parents to homeschool their children. . .

Yes! we homeschooler are all secret members of KKK!

lol, that is definitely one of the stupidest things I've heard. How old was this girl? and what did you say?

That question is definitely going into the recordbooks as one of the most ignorant questions about homeschooling ever. Was this child over the age of 7? (If not, she can be forgiven because she can't possibly know what she was asking.)

Do you want to start a thread about the stupidest questions ever posed to homeschoolers?

That is horribly intolerant, and stereotypical.

How old was she? Did you explain to her?

Boy, I thought it was stupid when my daughter was asked at a party at college last fall -- "Have you ever been to a party before?"

She's decided to start telling people random things are true because she was homeschooled and see if they believe it.

the girl was ten.

i told her that no, i am not a part of kkk and that being a part of kkk has nothing to do with being home-schooled. she just nodded and went away but i was so shocked that i didnt take time to explan stuff further.

"Have you ever been to a party before?" LOL

That's fantastic! I think we should encourage our homeschooled children to start asking schooled kids some similarly ignorant (innocent?) questions:
1) are you in a gang?
2) have you ever seen a video from beginning to end in one sitting?
3) have you ever eaten a meal that didn't come from a vending machine?
4) have you ever read a book that didn't ask questions at the end of the chapter?
5) how do you know when you have finished learning something if no one rings a bell?
