Am I a URM?

<p>This is a simple and somewhat stupid question. I am half Turkish and half Karachay (an originally Russian tribe of people who immigrated to Turkey during World War I; there are only about 30,000 of them living today, and they have their own, unique language and cultute), but, racially, I am still causcasian; does this qualify me as a URM? Thanks. By the way, I was born in Turkey and immigrated to the U.S. at six years of age.</p>
