I am a middle eastern am I URM, additionally my mom did not go to college however my dad went to school in the middle east am I still a first gen ?
You are not URM or first gen.
If your parents are divorced and your custodial parent does not have a college degree, many colleges would deem you a first-gen student. However, if your parents are married or living together, and one has a college degree, then you are not a first-gen student.
