My ACT composite seems to be at the mean for the Business school. However, should I submit my SAT to have the stronger essay score available?

Schools:

Cornell(CAS)
Boston College(CSOM)
Northwestern
Northeastern(Business School)
Villanova(Business School)
Notre Dame(College of Arts and Letters)
University of Pennsylvania(College of Arts and Sciences)
Georgetown(Business School)
Delaware
Maryland-College Park(Business School)
Duke
UNC-Chapel Hill
Binghamton(Business School)
Richmond
Holy Cross

Thank you

Out at Northwestern, Duke, UPenn, Georgetown, probably Notre Dame

In at MOST of the state schools

-------------------------------------------If it is to be, it is up to me…

Great class rank

Pretty good ACT score.

I would say you have a chance at a lot of the schools on your list.

I commend you to applying to lots of schools, because with the acceptance rates at the top schools being so low, it is wise to apply to a lot of them.

I would say you are definitely in at Villanova, Delaware, Northeastern, Maryland, Richmond, Holy Cross, and Binghampton.

The rest are crapshoots, even for the tip top students.

I would say that perhaps you applied to a bit too many matches, and perhaps not enough reaches.

Unless you have a hook that you haven’t written about, your chances are most top schools are near zero. Your test scores are just too low for your class rank. The low math score will be noticed by top b-schools, and the low English/CR will be noticed by the liberal arts schools. OOS, Chapel Hill can be as competitive as the Ivies.

If I were you and you really want in to those top schools, I’d sign up for an ACT retake immediately.

I’m submitting my ACT to all schools. Most don’t require both of my tests.

which schools on my list do you define as being “top schools”? this way i can establish my far-fetched reaches.

Top schools on your list, where a 30 is too low to be competitive:

Tier 1:

Cornell, Duke, Northwestern, Penn

Tier 2:

Georgetown & UNCC (OOS)

Next:
BC (where a 30 is below mean, and you are a male applying to biz)

btw: while Georgetown says that is is now Subject Test optional, that applies more to hooked candidates IMO. B-school applicants will have strong Math 2 scores.
