Okay, so CMU has these awesome forum blog things that you can post your questions on. It is sorta like CC in some ways. You have to sign up and then they will make available the forums that are pertinent to you.

Sooo, I signed up today and they opened the forum for "Prospective Student" as well as "Admitted Student". Is this a good sign? Has anyone done this?

u kno what
i just signed up and it was like that so i don't think it mean ne thing.
im not sure, i really hope it means something, but i don't think it does
keep ur fingers crossed

looks promising:

Now two days to wait....
heres the link for those of you who can't find it, its not in google
cmuchat.gotoextinguisher.com/bb/start/

well for me they opened the admitted students chat but not forum. so... i don't know. i mean they don't have midyear grades (mine were horrendous) yet or anything so i don't know if they could have made a decision yet.

Yeah, same here. I have access to both Prospective and Admitted Students Chats, but only the Prospective Students Forum. Haha, for my sake I hope it doesn't mean anything :)

Well I JUST signed up and I have access to both.
But there's no way that they could check my information to see whether I was admitted or not, in like 2 seconds... Plus they dont have half of my SAT2 scores and my mid year report.

Sitting at home anxiously, we try to find early signs. OK I went back to this forum again and I am able to see the Accepted Section, and I posted on there, apparently no one posted on there. Is it just me or anyone else can do that?

i have the admitted students option...i don't think i'll get in, but when i saw it, i thought the same thing! are all of your stats common to cmu accepted students?
