i'm pretty sure that the invite means that you got into CAS bc one of my friends works in the admissions office at nyu and told me specifically that theres an invite for accepted CAS students on april the 8th... i'm pretty sure, but i wont say that i'm absolutely positive bc i just cant make that conclusion for sure

I got one, too, dudes. Let's hope it bodes well for all of us. Maybe since we didn't get Sunday at the Square invites but got this other Friday thing, we can assume we are the tier right below the super crazy top 1% kids, but people they still want to attract? Who freakin' knows. These people are coo-coo. It definitely seems like a good sign, though -- why would they send rejects an invite to an April 8th (i.e. post-April 1st) shindig? Ah, well. Good luck to all.

oh yea plus he told me that no one was supposed to know about the april 8th seminar thing... i hope you got in! good luck to you! =]

I got sunday at the square for CAS, on april 3rd. This is weird, I wonder what the difference is between ours

probably scholarship money, lol

you think the suday at the square or the other reception is for scholarship money?

i'm assuming that since only the most qualified of applicants get merit $, sunday at the square kids get priority consideration. the other reception (if ur referring to the dean scholarship) speaks for itself.

Got the same CAS card for April 8/15. Yeah, it wouldn't make sense to invite students to an event after their rejection. We'll See.
