my mom recently got me a single burner (so i can boil eggs, cook noodles, etc) for my dorm. i was wondering whether i could it or not and would it be allowed.

No, that would not be allowed. If you go to the housing website they have a page that tells you that single burners/hot plates, toasters, toaster ovens, etc. are not allowed. Appliance wise you can have microwaves and refrigerators that fall within their guidelines, coffee pots, hair appliances, and irons. That’s about it.

What dorm are you going to be living in and when do you plan to move in?

123abc456, do not respond to the last post.

You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you . . .

I wasn’t asking for any evil intent. It never even crossed my mind. I guess I was just curious what the move in plan was, since most of my child’s dorm (over 80 percent) had arrived by 5 PM on Sunday.

By the way, you might want to check and see (if you haven’t already), what your roommate has already provided.
