I’m applying to Harvard REA and have a musical performance portfolio prepared but since I have been trained in my traditional language I recorded pieces in my native language. Is this allowed/will they be able to evaluate it? And if they can’t will it hurt to submit it?
You should probably check what the submission guidelines are on Harvard’s admission website. If they do not cover your question, you should really call or email their admissions office - people here can give guidance and advice, but for specific questions about rules and regulations, it is always better to ask the people who are in charge.
Good luck!
Are you a vocal performer? I can’t see any issue at all with this. IF unsure, you could ask on the music major forum where there are several posters with knowledge of vp.
As an aside, for an arts supplement to be of any value at a top tier college it needs to be of exceptionally high (near conservatory level) quality.
